Musical Theatre Reels

"Modest Maid," written by Marc Blitzstein. Evidently he wrote it for the great Beatrice Lillie but she never performed it. Charlotte Rae recorded it back int he 1950's. One of my favorite audition pieces, because it's one not heard very often.

Another favorite piece...for auditions or just anywhere. This is by the brilliantly talented Jenny Giering & Sean Barry from their musical "Saint Ex."

A snippet of Ms. Pennywise's rousing anthem from "Urinetown."

Berthe's song from "Pippin."

One of my favorite roles of recent years included this great song from "The Drowsy Chaperone"

A new musical exploring the rise & destruction Picher, OK

Pat played Rita Ray, wife of the mayor of Picher

Once the world's largest producer of lead and zinc, Picher became the EPA’s #1 Superfund site, deeming it the most toxic place in America. The Picher Project, based on interviews, personal stories and historic events, covers the town’s 100-year history from the opening of the mines to the town’s demise. While grappling with losing their homes, the town is forced to confront their complicated political divide, unpredictable natural disasters, and environmentally caused illnesses. Through the lives of Picher citizens and the often forgotten experience of the Quapaw Nation, The Picher Project shows the struggles of illness, pride, love and loss. The Picher Project ultimately asks the following questions: How do we take responsibility for our history? How do we treat the land we live on? How do we leave our home?

    "Unmarried Man" - World Premiere

A hilarious new play by Emmy Kuperschmid and Alice Nora

UNMARRIED MAN is a fun, quirky play on The Bachelor that investigates the tropes we force upon the contestants and makes them real again–in hilarious ways. Pat played Suzanne, the producer of this a-bit-too-close-to reality t.v. show.

SECOND PREVIEW OF THIS WORLD PREMIERE MUSICAL AND I WENT IN! It was a night I'll never forget. One of my lovely ladies didn’t feel up to performing (NOT COVID-related) and wisely listened to her body and graciously gifted me the opportunity to go onstage for her in one of the two tracks I cover. I was strangely calm but also full of adrenaline. What a magical night it was. It wasn’t perfect, by any means. But as I said when I walked out of my callback for this project (back in 2019!): “I was just in a room with Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, and Frank Galati and didn’t poop, puke, or pee. That’s a WIN.” Seriously, though, I felt as if the whole cast, crew, creatives, and all of Asolo Rep had my back, enabling me to help tell this beautiful story. I was so honored and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this family and still am.
